47 year old who presented to discuss breast augmentation options. She is a mother of two children ages 15 years and 13 years. She owns her own business and works full time. She had been interested in having a breast augmentation since she was a teenager, but only now is exploring it with a surgeon. She states that she has recently lost 25 pounds and does not know what her current bra size is. Her goals are for her to gain volume and be able to feel comfortable in a bikini. After trying on our sizers, she decided that her goal was around 350 cc. Therefore, she was augmented with 350 cc smooth round high profile silicone gel implants placed subpectorally (under the muscle) using an inframammary incision and a dual plane approach to minimize the risk of a ‘double bubble’ deformity. The procedure was performed in-office in our fully accredited (AAAASF) facility under light sedation and local anesthesia. Results are shown at 3 months.
