Description:
44-year-old female, she is single and is here today to discuss breast augmentation and possible breast lift. She has two grown children and she breast fed both of them. She currently wears a 36C bra and she states that she would like more volume on the top and would like to be a D cup. Even though her primary goal was additional breast volume, because she had significant breast droop (ptosis), we explained that breast implants needed to wait until the ptosis was corrected with a breast lift. Once healed (typically 2-3 months later) if she still desired more breast volume, we could add implants without adding new scars (using the breast lift scars). She agreed to this staged approach, and proceeded with a mastopexy (breast lift). Her pre-operative marks (showing proposed incision placement) can be seen on the pre-op images. The procedure was performed in-office in our fully accredited (AAAASF) facility under light sedation and local anesthesia. Results shown at 3 months. After several months, she was able to proceed with her breast augmentation, once the breast droop had been corrected (shown HERE).
