A 19-year-old female who is here today for consultation to discuss options for breast reduction. She is accompanied by her mother, and had considered breast reduction for a long time, but it has become more of a priority lately: she struggles with posture and backpain, which causes her issues with her classes and lab work when she sits at a desk for long periods of time. She currently wears a 36DDD bra. Height is 5’3″. Weight is 150 pounds. She complains of grooves in her shoulders from her bra straps, and she has a hard time finding bras that fit correctly. She would like the breasts reduced in size enough in hopes that it will relieve her discomfort and become more manageable for her. She would like her breasts to stay proportional to her body and still be attractive. She has looked at several before and after photos on my website, and was very pleased with the outcomes she saw. She had a bilateral breast reduction with a total of 450 gm removed from the left breast, and 475 gm removed from the right; with nipple position corrected as well (see images). The procedure was performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. Results shown at 3 months.
