Description:
A pleasant 33 year old female and stay at home mother who is unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen and breasts. Prior to her first pregnancy, her weight was stable at 125 lbs. Her first child was delivered vaginally 7 years ago, and she breastfed that child for about one week. Her second child was born via c-section 3 years ago, and she breastfed for about one month. Since then, she has had a tubal ligation and does not anticipate any future pregnancies. At this point, her primary goal is to “have a flat belly again.” She would like excess skin and fatty tissue at the abdomen she would like removed. She would also like her abdominal muscles tightened, if needed. She would like to know if these goals can be achieved surgically. Height is 5’1″. Weight is 130 pounds. An abdominoplasty with rectus repair was performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. The underwear demonstrates the goal of having the scar hidden by bikini or undergarments, although sometimes this is not entirely possible. Results are shown at 6 months.
